West Brom head into tonight's clash with Swansea City, with manager Darren Moore knowing that a win will take his side up to fourth in the Championship and keep the pressure on the top three.

As reported in the Birmingham Mail, Moore has given a squad injury update ahead of the match, where he confirmed that he will be without defender Kyle Bartley who has a knee injury, plus confirmed Bakary Sako is set for a late fitness test, after recovering from a knock that kept him out of the squad at Portman Road last week

So what effect the Bartley / Sako situations on the West Brom squad for tonight? Should Sako start?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

With Kyle Bartley out you’d expect it to be Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi at the back for West Brom.

Which isn’t a bad combination since the two played well together last Friday against Ipswich.

Sako making the squad would be to add to the subs bench I would imagine, I can’t see him starting unless there has been an injury since the weekend.

I feel Darren Moore will play the same XI as Friday as they won, so there is no need to change a winning team.

Gary Hutchinson

Why not?

Sako wasn’t signed to make the bench, was he?

Losing Bartley is a blow though, the Baggies are bad at the back.

He’s one of their shining lights and he’ll be missed.

Louie Chandler

Neither should worry West Brom fans.

Bartley is undoubtedly a quality player, but the partnership of Dawson and Hegazi has been very solid.

Sako could be a threat off the bench so worth having him in there.

George Harbey

Bartley has been on and off this season but has turned a corner in recent weeks, so it’s a big blow.

As for Sako, he can be a very good player on his day and will be desperate to show Albion fans what he is made of.

It’s a big game for Albion.
