Neil Warnock has confirmed that Craig Noone and Declan John are set to leave Cardiff City this summer, whilst Anthony Pilkington could also be heading for the exit door at the Cardiff City Stadium, reports the BBC.

Cardiff finished 12th in the Sky Bet Championship last season, with Warnock behind an extraordinary turnaround in Wales, taking the Bluebirds from the relegation zone to the top-half in just eight months.

The 68-year old is now planning a promotion push in the 2017/18 campaign, and will be active in the transfer market, as he alters his squad to challenge.

The Bluebirds have already signed goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing this summer, and attentions are now turning to exits from the Cardiff City Stadium.

Warnock confirmed that John, 21, is set to leave in search of more regular football, whilst the 68-year old believes that Noone needs to leave Cardiff in search of a “new challenge.”

Pilkington could be another player leaving Wales this summer, with Warnock confirming talks over the 28-year old’s future will be held in pre-season, despite the winger having a contract with Cardiff until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

Both Noone and Pilkington have been regulars in the Cardiff starting XI since their respective arrivals in 2012 and 2014, but John has struggled for consistent opportunities since breaking onto the scene in 2012.
