Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has confirmed that Lee Peltier requires an ankle operation, according to Wales Online.
Lee Peltier needs surgery to sort out some loose bone fragments in his ankle and this could mean that he spends up to three months sidelined with injury.
However, Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has insisted that Peltier will play through his injury and he will not have his operation until the Bluebirds are clear of relegation.
Cardiff’s recent upturn in form has seen them climb the Championship table and they now sit in 15th place with an eleven point cushion from the relegation zone.
This has been testament to a remarkable turnaround since Warnock took over.
In more positive news, Warnock also confirmed that Bruno Ecuele Manga will not be out for the season as initially feared.
Secondary scans on the Gabon international defender confirmed that he could be back in six weeks.
