Cardiff City have had a mixed start to their Championship campaign thus far, with the Bluebirds having picked up three wins, four draws and two defeats in their first nine games this season, yielding a points return of 13 from a possible 27 up for grabs.

City boss Neil Warnock will no doubt be relishing the prospect of taking on one of his former clubs in the form of Queens Park Rangers tomorrow night at that Cardiff City Stadium, with the Bluebirds heading into the clash with the R's off the back of a six-game unbeaten run in the league, which includes their 2-2 draw with Hull City on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the R's travel to the Welsh capital after going down 2-0 at home to high flying West Brom who have so far yet to have tasted defeat this season, with the defeat ending their own four-match unbeaten run in the league, after they had previously picked up victories against the likes of Millwall, Luton, Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic.

With QPR sitting in 9th place at present, it promises to be a very interesting fixture between the two sides, and Warnock was quick to talk up the prospect of the tie being a very entertaining game, with the 70-year-old stating:

The Verdict

Cardiff fans will likely approach tomorrow night's game in a positive light, with Warnock's comments showing that there is a belief amongst both the management team and squad that they can get a result out of the game against QPR.

The fact that Warnock has talked up the atmosphere also shows how much he values the support provided to himself and the players from the stands, with Cardiff having seen a steady level of attendance so far this season, which will no doubt be due to the club's mixed form thus far.

With the side now unbeaten in their last six league games, Warnock will no doubt be hoping that the club see an increased amount of fans turn out for home games in the weeks and months to come, as the club seek an instant return to the Premier League after suffering relegation last season.
