Brentford currently sit in 3rd place in the Sky Bet Championship after an impressive first half of the season, and stalwart Neil Warnock claims the Bees have the best forward line in the division.

Thomas Frank's side have proven to be one of the better footballing sides in the league, living up to the pre-season expectations of making the play-off places.

Speaking to talkSPORT, former Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock spoke about the teams who he regards as the best in the division, and gave Brentford a brief mention.

QUIZ: Do you know where these fifteen ex-Brentford players are playing now?

"I think Brentford have got the best strikers," the 71-year-old said.

Ollie Watkins has shown to be one of the most prolific forwards in the Championship, netting seventeen goals so far this campaign.

Brentford often play with an attacking trio, with Bryan Mbeumo on the right, and Said Benrahma on the left.

The 20-year-old Frenchman has also contributed towards the Bees' goal tally of 41, with ten of his own. Benrahma also has four goals and five assists for the West London club.

The Verdict

Warnock is correct in saying that Brentford do have a good attacking threat, with their front three proving many times over that they are brilliant talents in the final third.

However, the 71-year-old's claim that the club have the best strikers in the division seem half-hearted, with Ollie Watkins one of the few players at the club that can play as a centre forward.
