Cardiff City travel to Derby County as they aim to keep up the pressure on Wolves.

Neil Warnock has produced astonishing results with Cardiff so far this season because they are currently in second place with 76 points from 37 games.

They face a Derby side in a slump who prior to this poor run of form were seriously challenging for second place, but play-offs is the most they can aim for now. Regardless, this will be a close game because both are capable sides desperate for points.

Here's what Warnock had to say in his pre-match press conference: "We don’t kid ourselves, I think it’ll be as tough as you get: Derby away. It’ll probably be the toughest game we’ve had in a long time on Sunday."

It’s a lovely stadium and there’ll be a fabulous crowd; I always like going there and enjoyed going to the old Baseball Ground too. They are good football people."

The Verdict

Warnock is showing his experience by not allowing his team to get complacent and instead is getting them fired up for a tough game.

Derby are on a poor run of form, but luck hasn't gone their way in recent games and it won't be long before the draws are converted into wins, so this will be a tough game for Cardiff. However, Warnock has navigated his side through plenty of tough games this season and this could easily be another in a special season for the Bluebirds.
