As per the BBC, Cardiff City manager has stated that he has had assurances that Vincent Tan is not actively looking to sell the Welsh outfit.

Reports had emerged this week that controversial Bluebirds owner Tan was looking to offload the Championship club, but following a conversation with chairman Mehmet Dalman, Warnock is convinced that is not the case.

Reports earlier this year claimed that Tan has received offers for the Welsh club, but none of them meet his valuation of the South Wales outfit, and it would appear that Warnock is convinced that the situation has not changed and Tan is not looking to make a sale.

Warnock also emphasised his strong and honest relationship with Dalman, and praised the fact that the Bluebirds hierarchy had allowed him to bring in the players he has wanted so far this summer to improve the squad.

Warnock turned around Cardiff's fortunes following his mid-season appointment and will hope to continue the club's upward curve by piecing together a serious promotion push in his first full season in charge at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Playmaker Lee Tomlin, signed from divisional rivals Bristol City, is among the new faces that Warnock has brought in to help him achieve that aim, and the board have also offered him support in rejecting offers for Kenneth Zohore and Sean Morrison, with the latter signing an extended deal at the Welsh club.
