Middlesbrough are facing another stern test as they take on Millwall this weekend.

Back-to-back victories over Stoke City and Preston North End this week have seen the Teessiders retain their place the play-off race, however Neil Warnock's side know that they'll need a stroke of luck if they're to get anywhere near.

Going into the weekend Middlesbrough are five points away from the top six which means that they'll results to go their way in the coming weeks.

In addition to that Warnock's side have just one target - to keep winning.

Here are some of the decisions that are facing the Middlesbrough boss this weekend.

Paddy McNair

The inclusion of the Northern Ireland international is bound to be a big talking point.

McNair suffered a knee injury during the victory over Preston North End midweek - a knock that forced him off the pitch and cast doubt over his fitness moving forward.

Neil Warnock revealed that he expected the midfielder to travel with his national team during the upcoming break, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be deemed fit enough to start at The Den.

Stick with a winning formula?

Middlesbrough have been very impressive in their last few matches.

Two wins, five goals scored and none conceded against Stoke City and Preston is pretty impressive and suggests that Neil Warnock may have found a system and line-up that is particularly effective.

But after such an intense run of games it'll be interesting to see if he'll look to shuffle the pack in order to give some squad players a chance.

The Britt Assombalonga dilemma.

It's an interesting situation that's transpiring around the striker.

Assombalonga is out of contract in the summer and after losing the captaincy it appears that he's quickly falling out of favour under Neil Warnock.

I'm not expecting him to start against Millwall but it'll be telling if he's excluded from the matchday squad again.
