Neil Taylor reacts to Aston Villa’s record-breaking win over Millwall

Neil Taylor has heaped praise on his Aston Villa teammates, after their record-breaking win over Millwall at Villa Park this afternoon.
Villa extended their winning run to ten matches with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Lions, breaking a 109-year club record in the process.
Jonathan Kodjia’s first-half goal was enough for the three points, as Villa cemented their position in the Championship play-off places with two games to go.
During his post-match interview, Taylor was quick to praise his teammates, saying the team can be “extremely proud” of what they have been able to achieve during their record-breaking run.
???? "We're very proud. Our season would be a lot different if we hadn't put this run together."

Villa are now fifth in the Championship table and have guaranteed their place in the play-offs with two matches to spare.
Dean Smith’s side now face important matches against Leeds United and Norwich City in their final two games of the regular season and will be looking to continue their momentum.
The Verdict:
Taylor is spot on here. Villa deserve tremendous credit for what they have been able to achieve in recent weeks and the players should be extremely proud of themselves.
The defender is right to talk about momentum, as it can be so crucial at this stage of a campaign and if Villa can keep their remarkable run going into the play-offs, they stand every chance of ending the season with promotion.
