Neil Harris has warned Leeds what to expect when they visit the Den on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions come into the game on the back of three straight defeats in the league and Harris will be looking for a statement from his side after the international break.

“Leeds is a really difficult game and we need to try to be that hard-to-beat and resolute Millwall team," Harris told the South London Press.

“We have got good players and a good team. The harder you work the more rewards you get in the game.

“We’ll be working really hard over the international break. There is no guarantee of winning a game of football but it is about getting back to being really nitty-gritty and at our best.”

The form of the two teams is a bit of a contrast at a glance.

Marcelo Bielsa's side sit at the top of the Championship table with 14 points after winning four and drawing two, whereas Harris' side have slumped down the table into 16th after defeats to Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham United and Swansea City.

The Whites were dealt a huge injury blow today, however, with the news that marquee summer signing Patrick Bamford will be out for up to four months after suffering a knee injury in an under-23 match against Bristol City last week.

The Verdict

I can only really see this match going one way and that is in Marcelo Bielsa's favour.

Millwall are enduring a really rotten run of form and I do not think the international break will have been long enough for Harris to have rectified that.

The Bamford injury will be a big blow to Leeds over the course of the season, but it will not save Millwall here.
