Neil Harris has been talking to press ahead of his side's clash with derby County this weekend, highlighting exactly what he feels it will take to get the better of Frank Lampard's side.

The Lions are unbeaten, an impressive opening day 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough was followed by a hard-fought point at Ewood Park and Harris believe being hard to beat is the secret to his sides continued success.

"You want to be hard to beat," he told News at Den. "That’s for sure, and Millwall teams, notoriously, should be hard to beat. My teams have to be aggressive and hard to beat, but I do expect some good play as well."

Derby have opened with a win and a loss and are five places above Harris' side in the early league table, but Millwall come off the back of a draw with League One Gillingham, who almost produced a cup upset. Harris won't expect to see a repeat of that.

"Saturday against Derby I expect to see both. I expect us to throw our bodies on the line but I also expect us to open teams up and create chances from either free-flowing football or from being aggressive and hustle-bustle."

Last season the Lions held the high-flying Rams to a 0-0 draw at the Den, losing at Pride Park 3-0.

The Verdict

On paper, Millwall maybe shouldn't even be considered as likely victors, they've spent little and although they've retained a bulk of their squad, they haven't improved significantly.

This is Millwall though, a side always far stronger than the collection of individuals. The Den is a horrible place to visit, hostile and aggressive which helps them foster a real 'us and them' mentality.

Don't be surprised to see a  home win here.
