Many Huddersfield Town supporters have been suggesting that Chris Willock should have established himself as the Terriers' first choice down the right-hand side after his performance against Bristol City.

Willock, who arrived on loan from Benfica for the rest of the season in January, was handed a chance to impress from the start by Danny Cowley against Bristol City, as the Huddersfield manager looked for a response from his players to the 3-1 defeat suffered at Swansea City last weekend.

Can you name the entire Huddersfield Town XI from their Play-Off final win in 2017?

The 22-year-old was brought in to the side in pace of Elias Kachunga and he was able to provide more of a natural outlet down the right-hand side of the Terriers’ attack, which helped them take control of the game and push Bristol City back into their own half of the field for long periods.

The attacker showed the potential he has to make a real difference for the Terriers in the final third, with an excellent curling strike beyond Daniel Bentley giving him his first goal for the club and giving Huddersfield a deserved breakthrough just six minutes before half time.

Willock continued to be a lively presence throughout his 70 minutes on the field, and he was able to demonstrate the extra pace and trickery he could potentially bring to the starting line-up, if he were to start on a consistent basis between now and the end of the campaign.

Here then, we take a look at what Huddersfield fans have been saying about Willock following his performance against Bristol City…
