Krystian Bielik’s agent has questioned why the Polish international was used against Tottenham for the U23 side earlier this week after he picked up a serious knee injury.
The initial news surrounding the summer signing is not good, as it’s feared he has damaged his cruciate ligament which could see him out for up to a year.
That came during the fixture for the development side and it has prompted the player’s agent, Cezary Kucharski, to criticise the club about selecting him for what is a pretty meaningless game when speaking to the Polish press.
“Krystian was getting ready for Saturday’s match with Hull. He could easily handle it by training normally. In the meetings of younger players, on a lower level, the game is completely different. I believe that this Monday session did not make sense.”
However, Derby’s decision was based on the fact Bielik hasn’t played this year after serving a three-game ban following his red card against Charlton in late December.
What club did each of these 16 Derby County players sign from?
So, many fans understood why he was picked and were not happy by these comments.
Here we take a look at some of the reaction from Twitter…
Agent needs to keep his mouth firmly shut. Scourge of the modern game. Parasites. Bielik is paid to play for Derby & that in turn is what greases the agent's palm.

Agent needs to shut up you got your money he’s paid to play football and follow instructions.

I bet we wasn’t criticising us when we paid £7m for his client.

We've done Poland a favour really. The titanic turned quicker than Bielek.

Him and his agent are abit quick to talk badly of the club. But it was an odd shout to have him play if he was in contention for a start on Saturday.

Seems like a bad egg as does his agent. First he’s coming out with deluded comments like he’d be back in the Prem with or without Derby. Now his agent is piping up.

This sort of reaction is not helpful . Perfectly legitimate and sensible to give him some game time in the U23s . Simply bad luck in the way he got injured .

Unfortunately or him and Derby his injury is part of football. He needs to be match sharp and ready for Saturday and Cocu was fully justified in playing him in the U23s.
