QPR were beaten 2-1 by Fulham in the west London derby last night, leaving many R's fans frustrated at the defensive unit.

Mark Warburton's side arrived at Craven Cottage without a win in their last four games but made a fast start to proceedings.

Jordan Hugill opened the scoring for the visitors in the third minute, directing Todd Kane's cross into the back of the net off his shin.

QPR continued to pile on the pressure but it was Fulham who struck next through Aboubakar Kamara, who headed an equaliser just before the hour mark.

Scott Parker's side were without talismanic striker Aleksander Mitrovic due to suspension but Kamara stepped up in his absence and scored the winner early in the second half–capitalising on R's goalkeeper Joe Lumley's poor clearance.

The result could mean Warburton's side slide down as low as 16th by the end of the weekend and have now conceded 32 goals this season–with only bottom-of-the-table Barnsley having conceded more.

It also means that Rangers are still yet to keep a clean sheet in the Championship in the 2019/20 campaign–the only team not to do so.

That fact does not seem to have gone unnoticed by fans of the west London club, with many taking to Twitter after the game to criticise their defence and call for improvement.
