Che Adams doesn’t look like he’ll be moving to Leeds United this January, which leaves the Whites still searching for a clinical forward to come in and assist their automatic promotion push.

Leeds lost Eddie Nketiah to an Arsenal recall earlier in the month, with Adams identified as a replacement.

However, Southampton have knocked back a £20m loan-to-buy offer from Leeds – as per the Yorkshire Evening Post – leaving Marcelo Bielsa, Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta looking for an alternative.

QUIZ: Can you name every Leeds United player’s shirt number?

According to previous reports in The Sun, Jarrod Bowen is someone Leeds are keen on, with a similar offer on the table for the 23-year-old that they presented to Adams and Southampton.

And, Grant McCann, the current Hull City boss, issued a message on his 16-goal forward ahead of their FA Cup meeting with Chelsea on Saturday.

“No bids for Jarrod, nothing has come to me,” Hull Daily Mail report. “As has been well publicised, a new and improved offer has gone to Jarrod and we’re just waiting to hear back from that.”

David Anderson at the Mirror goes on to state that McCann might be forced to listen to offers for Bowen if this contract offer isn’t accepted, which has excited the Leeds fans.

Despite Bowen not being the natural No.9 Bielsa needs, he’s got ability to play across the frontline and is a natural goalscorer.
