‘Nauseating’ – Plenty of Bristol City fans hit out at Sky after Derby County clash

Bristol City’s 3-2 victory over Derby County at Ashton Gate was televised live on Sky Sports last night and many fans of the South West club have expressed their frustration at the coverage.

Lee Johnson’s side held off some late pressure from the Rams to grab their fourth win in their last five Championship games.

January signings Nahki Wells and Filip Benkovic both scored on their starting debuts to give the Robins a 2-0 lead at the break.

Famara Diedhiou put City three up early in the second half but Derby fought back and pulled two goals back through Martyn Waghorn and Chris Martin.

They kept pushing for an equaliser but the Robins held on to claim all three points.

Former England and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney started for Derby after joining the club in January.

It seemed as if Rooney and the Rams were the focus of an inordinate amount of the discussion on Sky’s coverage of the game.
