‘National League, here we come’ – Many Bradford City fans react to emerging Stuart McCall update

Stuart McCall has put pen to paper on a contract extension at Bradford City, the club have confirmed this afternoon.

McCall is currently in his third spell in charge, having spent time at the helm between 2007 and 2010, as well as between 2016 and 2018.

This spell hasn’t been one to shout about thus far, though, with the Bantams failing to win promotion back to League One after being relegated in 2018.

In fact, the Bantams are closer to the relegation zone. They sit 20th in the league table, only two points clear of the relegation zone having won only three of their first 13 league games.

But despite their disappointing start to the season, McCall, and his assistant Kenny Black, have penned one-year extensions at the club.

This keeps the pair at the club until the end of 2021/22, with the board clearing believing that they are the right men to get them out of this rut.

Here, we take a look at City fans’ reactions…
