Despite Millwall’s lowly position in the Championship at present, their supporters were treated to some good news when it was announced Jed Wallace had signed a new deal with the club.

The mercurial winger out pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal, committing his future to the London club despite seeing reported interest in him in the summer not taken up by Middlesbrough.

Wallace made his 100th appearance for the club since initially arriving on loan back in January 2016, and he managed to celebrate the landmark with a goal in the late defeat to Norwich City last time out.

Having signed a new deal after the two-week international break, the 24-year-old took to social media to comment on finalising terms.

Wallace said he was “over the moon” at the outcome - and judging by the number of replies to the message, the Millwall supporters were thrilled, too.

With that said, here’s how the Lions faithful reacted on Twitter to the comments from the winger immediately after signing his new and improved deal.
