Luton Town travel to QPR tonight and will be hopeful of recording their first victory at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium since 1984.

An extra incentive for The Hatters is that they can leapfrog tonight's opposition into the play-off positions with a victory, before tomorrow's fixtures come into effect.

The Hatters currently sit in 11th, but given the tight nature of the Championship at the moment, they are a mere two points from QPR in sixth.

Nathan Jones has spoken to Luton Today about the latest on the injury front, and said: “Luke’s (Berry) probably the only doubt we've got really in terms of still recovering from his medial injury.

"That’s a blow really as he’s been in really good form and goals from midfield are difficult to come by at any level.
"So when you’ve got a goalscoring midfield player out, it’s a little bit of a blow but we'll be in good shape, everyone’s stepped up physically and we’ve had a good few weeks." Jones also revealed that Elliot Thorpe's early return from international duty with Wales U21s was Covid-related, as opposed to an injury.
"He was in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid.
"He was unfortunate, he was on the plane and going over, but these things happen. "In respect of doing everything right by the protocols, he was pulled out of the game." The verdict  Berry's final third contributions thus far this season, coupled with his intelligent and relentless pressing will make him a big miss for the clash with QPR. However, with near enough full squad available for contention, Jones will be confident that The Hatters will be able to really test The R's. In Berry's absence, players like Admiral Muskwe or Jordan Clark might be deployed, with the pair both offering completely different services to one another. It remains to be seen how long Berry will spend sidelined as he is been excellent when featuring this season.
