West Brom defender Nathan Ferguson has recently been linked with a move to Premier League side Crystal Palace according to a report from The Athletic

The Baggies youngster has caught the eye with a number of impressive performances to date, and it seems as though his strong showings haven't gone unnoticed.

Ferguson has made 21 appearances for Slaven Bilic's side this term in all competitions, and has been on hand to score once and provide one assist this season.

West Brom are currently sat second in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can hold their nerve in the race for promotion into the top-flight with nine games remaining.

However, that promotion bid has come to an abrupt halt recently, with the EFL announcing that fixtures won't get back underway until it is deemed safe enough to do so.

Ferguson took to Instagram during the break from action to post a picture of him and his West Brom team-mates, which is likely to go down well with the Baggies supporters, who will be keen to see the youngster remain with the club for the foreseeable future.

The Verdict:

I think his development is best served with West Brom for another season at least.

Ferguson has impressed me for the Baggies this term, and I think he's got a bright future ahead of him if those performances are anything to go by.

This social post could drop a hint that West Brom is the club for him at this moment in time, which will obviously delight the club's supporters during this break from competitive action.

For now though, Ferguson will be focusing on getting the Baggies promoted into the Premier League with nine games remaining in this year's campaign.
