Queens Park Rangers hosted a live Q&A with striker Nahki Wells today, and fans were allowed to send in their questions for the on-loan forward.

In his second stint on loan at QPR, Nahki Wells is enjoying his career best form.

He admittedly struggled in Steve McClaren’s QPR side last season but under Mark Warburton this year, he’s showing fans why he was once a highly-regarded youth player in the Football League.

His career may not have lived up to all the hype that it once promised, but he’s certainly finding his footing at Loftus Road after some difficult spells with Burnley, and in dealing with injuries.

Today he took part in a Q&A session on the club’s official Instagram account, and one fan asked: ‘What’s it like playing up-front with Jordan Hugill?'

Hugill is also on-loan at the club, arriving from West Ham in the summer. He too is enjoying some fine-form after a difficult period in his career, with six goals to his name so far this season.

Wells’ response was: “It’s a great partnership and I believe between us we can score a lot of goals. I think we complement each other well and equally, we want each other to do very well.”

To find a strike partnership as prolific as Wells and Hugill at QPR, you’d have to go as far back as the days of Trevor Sinclair and Les Ferdinand. Whilst Wells and Hugill have got a way to go before matching their numbers, they're certainly on their way to doing so this season.

The verdict

Both Nahki Wells and Jordan Hugill have found refuge at QPR during what's been some of the tougher stages of their careers.

Warburton has made them both as important to the squad as each other, and the pair seem to be thriving off each one another with 13 goals between them already this season.

Wells is looking like he pushing for a permanent move to QPR next season, and if Hugill continues to flourish beside him, he may well follow suit.
