West Bromwich Albion will have everything crossed as they look to secure a pathway back to the Premier League, whether that’s on sporting merit or by completing the remaining nine fixtures of the Championship season.

Slaven Bilic’s side sit second in the Championship table, with the likes of Callum Robinson – signed on loan in January – looking to help the Baggies achieve their aim.

Robinson will be looking to deliver a promotion and join his parent-club Sheffield United back in the top-flight.

Last season, Chris Wilder famously led the Blades back into the Premier League, with the South Yorkshire outfit defying the odds to beat Leeds United to second in the table.

John Egan’s role in that promotion was key, with the Irish centre-back an commanding figure at the heart of Wilder’s 3-5-2. In addition to that, the ex-Brentford man’s role in the celebrations were excellent, with his version of Allez, Allez, Allez.

Recent footage of those celebration have emerged on Twitter, which sparked an exchange between Egan and current West Brom loanee, Robinson:

Robinson made 16 appearances in the Premier League for the Blades, scoring one goal before making the switch to the Hawthorns. Since linking up with West Brom, the 25-year-old has scored twice in eight outings.

The Verdict

Sheffield United’s celebrations from last season have become legendry in the EFL, with Egan really leading things.

Robinson was clearly a fan of the Allez, Allez, Allez, despite not signing at Bramall Lane until after the promotion was won.

The aim of the forward will be to recreate these celebrations with his current West Brom teammates.
