Few players in the Championship have caught the eye as much this season as Wigan Athletic's on loan Chelsea defender Reece James, and following his place in the EFL's Championship Team of the Season, the awards have continued to flow in for the 19-year-old.

At the club's own end of season awards event, the defender's contributions to the club's Championship survival this season were recognised once again, as James was named both the club's Player of the Season and the Players' Player of the Season, with his long range strike in the club's 2-2 draw at Bristol City being award Goal of the Season to complete a hat trick of awards.

Taking to Twitter after his emphatic successes, James simply thanked fans for their support, attached with pictures of him with each of his trophies, which also included an award for the Club's Community Champion.

Taking to Twitter to respond to James' post, plenty of Chelsea fans were keen to congratulate him on a hugely successful season, while predicting a bright future at Stamford Bridge for the 19-year-old.
