Nottingham Forest were held to yet another 1-1 draw on Wednesday night, with the Reds drawing with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The Reds extended their unbeaten run to four games under new manager Chris Hughton, but they were made to work hard to leave Bedfordshire with a point.

Glen Rea tapped home from close-range for Luton on 22 minutes, to put Nathan Jones' side into a deserved 1-0 lead.

On the stroke of half-time, Forest were reduced to ten men when Nicholas Ioannou was sent off for a strong challenge on Martin Cranie, leaving Hughton's men with a mountain to climb.

Forest did manage to find an equaliser, though, with Ryan Yates' header causing Rea to put the ball into his own net on 64 minutes.

Hughton will now have to make an enforced change against Middlesbrough on Saturday, with Ioannou set to miss Forest's next three games due to his suspension.

This could open a door for Yuri Ribeiro, though, with the Portuguese defender being frozen out since the end of last season.

Ribeiro has made only one appearance for Forest this season, which came against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, but Ioannou's suspension could see him reclaim a place in the first-team set-up.
