‘Must have watching a different game’ – Many Ipswich Town fans react to Paul Lambert’s post-match comments

Ipswich Town’s promotion hopes were dealt another considerable blow on Saturday following a narrow defeat to fellow contenders Peterborough United.
Victory for Paul Lambert’s team would have not only seem them climb into the top-six, but moved the Tractor Boys just seven points off the automatic promotion places with games in hand on the majority of the sides around them.
But Ipswich were unable to take advantage of those slipping up around them – with Mark McGuinness’ late own-goal the difference at Portman Road, although that only came after Posh striker Jonson Clarke-Harris missed a first-half penalty for the visitors.
Can you name each of these 17 ex-Ipswich Town players just by looking at these 3 clues?
Ipswich still have every chance of finishing in the play-offs, it was an eighth League One loss in 15 matches, and another result that only throws Lambert’s future into further doubt.
It was also a fifth Portman Road defeat in six matches, which is just one fewer than they managed throughout the whole of last season.
Lambert spoke to Ipswich’s social channels following the game, and here’s how the Portman Road faithful reacted on Twitter to his post-match comments:

Sure Lambert was at different game!
Got some good crosses in. Lol !
Wingers were non existent, hardly no crosses into the box.
Only 1 up front formation was negative from the start.— gary blackburn (@gaztommim) January 23, 2021
I think Paul must have watching a different game 😂🙈 It was an awful performance and in reality signals a further 10 years of decline as we miss the opportunity for promotion whilst the league comprises mediocrity.
