Sheffield Wednesday have been hit by an injury crisis under Jos Luhukay and one long-term absentee has been Fernando Forestieri. 

The Owls have lacked firepower as they have slipped down the league to the extent that they are still not safe from relegation and there is little doubt that the former Watford man would have been able to help out if fit.

There is still an outside chance that he will be fit before the end of the season but he gave his Twitter followers an update on what he is up to in his absence from the pitch - as he revealed a birthday present he had received.

Perhaps it was just the fact that it was rare to see the forward as he has been absent for so much of the season but Wednesday fans were not shy in replying to the tweet.
