Following a last-gasp equaliser at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night, Preston North End head into this weekend's clash with West Bromwich Albion full of momentum and on a four-game unbeaten streak in the Championship.

All hope looked lost against Sheffield United but from one final free-kick, Emil Riis converted after Jordan Storey kept the ball alive from Jack Robinson's inadvertent flick on.

It was exactly what PNE deserved on the night for their efforts and the games don't get any easier as the Baggies come to town tomorrow afternoon but they could be opportune opponents having not won in their last two outings.

How may Frankie McAvoy line his side up though for the visit of Valerien Ismael's side? Let's take a look.

McAvoy hasn't made much in the way of changes recently and considering his side is quite youthful they should still be fresh going into this clash with West Brom despite it being their third match in a week.

You'd expect that the trio of Daniel Johnson, Ryan Ledson and Ben Whiteman should be ready although Johnson did take a knock in the second half against the Blades, but deadline day signing Ali McCann may have to bide his time a bit longer until one of Ledson or Whiteman picks up their fifth yellow card to get his chance.

There could be an alteration up-front though, with Sean Maguire playing both games earlier in the week it may be time to rest the Republic of Ireland international as his hamstrings have not been in the best health in recent years.

It may come too soon for Connor Wickham to start a game for PNE so it could be a chance for Josh Murphy to show what he's got in a potential Deepdale debut - we're tipping McAvoy to select him ahead of Scott Sinclair who has just returned to training after an illness.
