Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to finish this season with a flourish - starting with Reading this weekend.

The Owls have not had a good year, of course, but they've looked stronger in recent weeks with a number of their main players coming back into the side after spells out.

For sure, then, they will be aiming to generate momentum to take into 2018/19 and it looks as though their chances of adding to that against Reading have been given a boost.

Indeed, all being well, Jos Luhukay has revealed that Atdhe Nuhiu, Lucas Joao and Daniel Pudil will all be available for selection come Saturday.

He said at his press conference:

Some good news for Wednesday, then, with Nuhiu in particular impressing of late.

Reading, meanwhile, remain in the relegation fight and so the Owls will be eager to have as strong a side as possible ready to take them on.

The Verdict

This is good news for Luhukay who has seen better signs at the club of late.

The Owls are by no means back to where they want to be but if they can finish this season strongly, there will be some growing optimism.

It'll certainly help having more options to choose from in games, too.
