Bristol City pulled off perhaps the greatest result in the history of the club last night, as Lee Johnson’s side rode to a shock 2-1 win over Manchester United.

Korey Smith’s late goal sent the Robins through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, where they will face Premier League leaders Manchester City over two-legs to decide who will head to Wembley in February.

Johnson’s side have been fantastic this season, and as well as their cup success, lie just four points from the automatic promotion places in the second tier.

Defeating top-flight sides may become a regular feature at Ashton Gate next season should Johnson break into the top-two by the end of the season, and the young boss would go down in history at the club should he achieve this once seemingly impossible dream.

Former defender Luke Ayling took to Twitter to congratulate his former teammates, with the Leeds man sure to be wishing he was a part of this famous, giant-killing side.

Leeds fans however, promised an even bigger party should the Whites be promoted this season...
