Nottingham Forest launched themselves into the top-six after a magnificent 1-0 victory over Sheffield United at the weekend.

It was, as expected, a feisty encounter between the two sides at the weekend, in a game that was cagey and tight throughout.

There were chances for both teams throughout the contest, but in the end it was a Lewis Grabban goal with 20 minutes left to play, that sealed all three points for Aitor Karanka's men.

The 30-year old is in phenomenal form at the moment having scored ten goals in his last eleven games and he is the player that will feature in the FLW Spotlight today.

It was a somewhat quiet game for Grabban by his standards, which was expected in a tight, gritty match between the Reds and the Blades.

But the red-hot forward only needed one shot to net the decisive goal of the game, a glancing header from a Joao Carvalho cross.

Grabban has been superb when leading the line on his own for the Reds this season, and has much more than just goals to his game - he accrued a pass success rate of 81% in 21 passes for the Reds on Saturday, one of those being a key pass for Joe Lolley.

Forest have been missing a goalscorer since Britt Assombalonga but in Lewis Grabban they have a striker who is proven at Championship level and is hungrier for goals as seasons go by.
