Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Lewis Holtby, following the 29-year-old's departure from Hamburg at the end of last season.

Holtby has signed a two-year deal at Ewood Park, after leaving Hamburg following five years with the German side, during which time he made 138 appearances and scored 15 goals in all competitions.
