Reading can expect a number of clubs to dive into their squad this summer with the season they have had so far.

Dutchman Jaap Stam has worked miracles at the Madejski since being appointed, having taken the Royals to a comfortably play-off fight which they've solidified across the last six months or so.

Whilst Reading have a couple of players on loan, the club have many who are contracted to the Championship outfit and have proven their worth this campaign.

Who do you credit for them being turned around from relegation candidates last year to promotion challengers 12 months later? The board have to take most of the credit for backing such an inexperienced manager and giving him he finances to overhaul the squad completely.

Here are TWO men at Reading who will be in high demand when it comes to the summer...

Garath McCleary

The 29 year-old winger has been one of the Royals' stand-out performers this season, always seemingly improving after his consistent performances.

Garath McCleary is important to the project in Berkshire so it will take a lot to prize the Jamaica international away from Reading, especially with him being tied down to a contract lasting until the summer of 2020.

The former Nottingham Forest man has bagged on eight occasions and contributed to the same number this year, creating 16 goals this year alone.

Liam Moore

Having been one of the arrivals under Jaap Stam before the season began; Liam Moore was brought in for one reason only - that was to stop goals from going in the back of the net for the opposition.

The 24 year-old defender has certainly done that and it's clear from their league position.

With his 27 Championship appearances, Moore is a first-choice on the matchday squad.

The ex-Leicester City centre-back is likely to have several potential suitors in the summer, but will come with an expense as his deal at the Madejski does not expire until 2020.

Reading supporters, do you agree? Are Garath McCleary and Liam Moore likely to be wanted in the summer? Who else could be the subject of interest? Tell us in the comments below!
