It’s been a tough summer for Birmingham City on the transfer front, with Garry Monk sure to be frustrated by the club’s current position.

A transfer embargo has caused havoc to Monk’s transfer plans, with the ex-Leeds boss unable to reshape his squad like he would’ve wanted.

It’s been hard for the Blues to make additions, whilst yesterday, Cheikh Ndoye became the latest player to depart St Andrew’s.

Ndoye has linked up with Angers in Ligue 1, with the 32-year-old securing a return to France.

Last season, the midfielder featured on 39 occasions in the Championship, starting 29 times for the Blues.

Monk has also included Ndoye in his two matchday squads so far this season, with the midfielder featuring for 90 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough.

His exit came as a surprise to some, and here at FLW, we wanted to find out if Birmingham’s supporters believe Monk has made the right call.

The majority of Birmingham supporters voting in our poll believe that Monk made the right decision, with 64% backing their manager.

The remaining 36% believe that this is a mistake.
