Sheffield Wednesday have had a tough window so far with them not being able to do the business we’ve seen them do in recent summers gone by.
The Owls have gone for promotion in the last few years but after a tough season last season it looks as though they are now going to have to step back and reassess.
Certainly, it looks as though few signings will be made this summer unless big investment comes in and, potentially, some funds could be raised if Fernando Forestieri was sold.
The attacker is arguably the Owls’ best player and would garner quite the fee – though it’s unclear if all the money his sale would raise would be pumped straight back into signing new players.
That all in mind, we asked Owls fans whether they’d accept a bid of £10m for the forward but it looks as though most actually wouldn’t:

If a £10m offer came in for Forestieri, would you accept it? ????#SWFC

Forestieri is a key part of what the Owls want to achieve and clearly with the market the way it is, fans would like to see a bigger bid come in before their club accepted his sale.
Let’s see, then, if any sides do try to test the club’s resolve.
