Paul Clement is preparing for his first full season in charge of Reading in the Sky Bet Championship.
After last season’s relegation scare, Clement has got to work in the transfer window, with Andy Yiadom one of many new arrivals.
Yiadom arrives as a talented right-back, who during his time at Barnsley, has done well.
The arrival of Yiadom will give Chris Gunter some much-needed competition for a place in the starting XI.
Gunter has made 238 league appearances for Reading since 2012, and last season, was ever-present across Reading’s 46 Championship fixtures.
However, the 28-year-old now has competition for his place at right-back, which has led to us, here at FLW, wondering whether Gunter would continue to be a guaranteed starter under Clement.
