It's been a tough start to the season for Ipswich Town this year in the Championship.

Under a new manager Paul Hurst, things were always going to take a bit of time to adjust and so that has proven so far.

Hurst has got the Tractor Boys playing some nice football, of course, but results are now needed - something they came so close to getting away at St. Andrew's at the weekend.

Potentially, then, Hurst might be tempted to bring in new faces in the January window as, though it's still a few months away, it could well be that the Portman Road outfit will need to invest once more.

With that in mind, then, we asked Ipswich fans on Twitter whether or not they'd like to sign John Marquis from Doncaster Rovers in the next window and it seems most like the sound of that:

Of those that voted, 65% said that a move for Marquis would be a good idea with him hitting eight goals so far this year for Donny.

Of course, it would be a step up from League One into the Championship but Hurst has looked to sign such players already this year and so he might be able to help the striker adapt quicker than most.
