Middlesbrough have to be considered one of the favourites for the Sky Bet Championship title this season.

The men from the Riverside missed out on the playoff final last season after Aston Villa beat them over two legs narrowly.

That said, Boro now look stronger than Villa going into this season and it appears that Tony Pulis still has ideas for where he'd like to improve the side further.

That in mind, then, teamtalk has reported that Boro are interested in Sergi Canos from Brentford in what would be an interesting deal.

A player of real guile and class in the final third, we asked fans of the club whether they'd be pleased with such a deal and it looks as though most would be:

Certainly, it's not the biggest of margins between yes and no but it is significant enough to suggest that the wider fan-base would be pleased with the deal.

Canos, when fit and firing, is a real asset and if Boro could sign him they'd be adding an extra bit of verve to an attack that perhaps needs someone to knit it all together - particularly if Patrick Bamford leaves.
