Bolton Wanderers will be looking for a smoother campaign than last season with them only securing their Championship status on the final day against Nottingham Forest.

Phil Parkinson's men will look to the fact that they started very slowly last season as being the reason they were where they were in May and that is what needs to change.

An early, bright start needs to be in order for the Trotters, then, and they'll be hoping their new signings can help them hit the ground running starting this weekend.

With that in mind, then, we asked fans of the club on Twitter whether they were pleased with one of their most recent signings - Jack Hobbs.

Here was the response:

Three quarters, then, are happy with the arrival of the former Nottingham Forest man.

The Reds released him at the end of last season but if he can stay fit he still has plenty to bring to the table in the Championship.

It is, of course, a big if but he arrives on a free so that makes him minimal risk and fans of the club are clearly happy for the Trotters to take a gamble regardless.
