Queens Park Rangers defender Moses Odubajo is set to miss the club's clashes with Bristol City and Birmingham City as he continues to recover from injury.

The wing-back has been forced to watch on from the sidelines since featuring for the R's in their showdown with Derby County in November.

Odubajo picked up a knock during this fixture and is now not set to make his return to action until the New Year.

In Odubajo's absence, QPR have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Championship at the hands of Stoke City and AFC Bournemouth.

Dominic Solanke netted what turned out to be the winning goal for the Cherries on Monday in the first-half of the game.

Set to face the Robins tomorrow, QPR will be determined to get back to winning ways at Ashton Gate.

Currently seventh in the Championship standings, the R's could potentially move back into the play-off places if they seal all three points on their travels.

Ahead of this fixture, an update has emerged regarding Odubajo's fitness.

As reported by West London Sport, QPR boss Mark Warburton has confirmed that the defender is still 10 to 12 days away from being fit enough to make his return to action.

The Verdict

For QPR's sake, they will be hoping that Odubajo does not suffer any setbacks in his road to recovery in the coming days as he has produced some solid displays for the club.

In the 14 league games that he has played during the current campaign, Odubajo has managed to provide two assists for his team-mates.

With Odubajo set to miss the club's next two league games, Warburton may decide to turn to Osman Kakay for inspiration.

Alternatively, the QPR boss could opt to select Albert Adomah in the right wing-back role as the 34-year-old has already made 17 appearances for the club this season in all competitions.
