Moses Odubajo shares eight-word message as he reflects on QPR’s latest triumph

Queens Park Rangers full-back Moses Odubajo has taken to Instagram to reflect on his side’s latest triumph in the Championship.

The Hoops managed to back up their victory over Birmingham City by sealing all three points in their showdown with Preston North End on Saturday.

Lyndon Dykes opened the scoring for QPR in the 17th minute before Emil Riis Jakobsen levelled proceedings for the Lilywhites.

Following the break, Preston took the lead via a strike from Josh Earl.

Undeterred by this setback, QPR equalised via an effort from Jimmy Dunne before Ilias Chair netted what turned out to be the winning goal in the 74th minute of the clash.

As a result of this triumph, the Hoops moved up to sixth in the Championship standings.

Set to face Fulham later this month, it will be intriguing to see whether QPR are able to deliver another impressive performance in this particular fixture.

The Verdict

QPR managed to illustrate a tremendous amount of character on Saturday as they came from behind to seal victory in their meeting with Preston.

This particular group of players will now be determined to push on under the guidance of manager Mark Warburton who has had a profound impact on the Hoops’ fortunes in recent years.

Since joining QPR earlier this year, Odubajo has produced some impressive performances in the Championship and is currently the club’s first-choice right-back.

As well averaging a respectable WhoScored match rating of 6.58 in the second-tier, the defender has chipped in with two assists for his team-mates.

Providing that Odubajo is able to deliver the goods on a consistent basis for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign, he could potentially play a key role for QPR as they look to challenge for a place in the top-six.
