It was a frustrating weekend for Brentford supporters, in what was meant to be their final game of the season at Griffin Park.

The Bees are currently sat fourth in the Championship table, and are well in contention to win promotion into the Premier League in their final season at Griffin Park.

Due to recent off-the-field events, all fixtures in English football have been called to an abrupt halt, with no scheduled return date being set as of yet.

Plenty of former Brentford players have taken to social media over what would have been a memorable weekend for the club at Griffin Park, and have issued some kind words about their time with the Bees.

One player to do just that was former Brentford full-back Moses Odubajo, who made 84 appearances in two separate spells with the club.

Odubajo revealed  on Twitter that he had some unforgettable memories whilst at Griffin Park, and paid tribute to a club that played a sizeable role as to where he is playing now.

Odubajo is currently playing his football with Sheffield Wednesday, but has struggled for consistent game time with Garry Monk's side this term.

The full-back has made just 17 appearances in all competitions this season for the Owls, and will be hoping he can force his way into the starting XI on a consistent basis when competitive action does return.

The Verdict:

Odubajo was a fantastic servant to Brentford, and it's no surprise to hear him having some kinds words to say about his time with the club.

He's not been at his best with Sheffield Wednesday, and it would be fair to say that his career has somewhat stalled in recent seasons since he left Brentford.

The full-back really impressed me whilst with the Bees, and he was fully deserving of a move when he did depart in 2015.

It's good to see him issuing an insight into his time with Brentford at a stadium that the club's supporters will hold in their memory for the rest of time.
