The international break is in the spotlight at present, but there is still plenty going on in the Championship despite the two-week hiatus.

After a relentless period of second-tier football, a week with no action is many upon football fans up and down the country.

But with players unable to do their talking on the field, there has certainly been plenty off of it.

There’s enough to keep idle minds busy without any competitive domestic football to cling on to.

And with the busiest part of the season fast approaching, we thought it would be beneficial to offer you a Friday morning round-up of all things Swansea City.

Here, then, are some of the biggest talking points concerning the club right now…

Starting with Wales Online who have revealed that the club are willing to listen to offers for Luciano Narsingh in January.

They are reporting that the Swans are looking to further reduce their wage bill and could see the man who signed in 2017 depart the club in order to do so, having failed to make an impact during his time at the Liberty Stadium.

Narsingh has failed to make a single appearance this term or even make a matchday squad having had injury problems as well as being out of favour with Graham Potter.

Wales Online also reported that he has continued to be omitted to avoid triggering a clause that would involve an additional payment to his old club PSV Eindhoven.

From a player who could be sold to one that wants a prolonged exit from Wales.

According to Turkish outlet, Aksam, Andre Ayew, who is currently at Fenerbahce on loan, suggests that the 28-year-old is open to an extended switch to the Turkish Super Lig.

Aksam claims the striker is admired by the club and he wants to stay beyond his current season-long loan.

It’s also being reported that Fenerbahce can’t afford to pay the asking price for the striker so they will look to negotiate another loan deal upon the expiration of the current agreement.

And finally, in an interview with Swansea’s official media, midfielder Matt Grimes has detailed his loan experiences when at Blackburn Rovers, Leeds United and Northampton Town.

The 23-year-old recently signed a new three-and-a-half year deal and has played 17 times this season for Potter’s side - starting on 12 occasions.

Grimes feels that the range of emotions and feelings he had during his time temporarily away from the club have helped him progress at the Liberty Stadium ahead of his continued involvement this season.
