Millwall face Leeds United this weekend when the early Championship leaders visit The Den.

Neil Harris’ men have had a downturn in recent form having lost their last three games on the bounce.

When a team goes on a winless run, changes are inevitable, and the Lions have kept that to a minimum during their negative streak.

The Lions only have a small squad without the luxury of several players to call upon to make wholesale changes.

But a shuffle in personnel is needed, and there is no better fixture to get players in to prove a point than in this weekend’s fixture against Marcelo Bielsa’s table-topping Leeds.

It is a game that the Lions' supporters will be looking forward too, and one the players relish playing in.

Harris has a dilemma on what time to put out this weekend to arrest the slump and get back to winning ways.

With that said, here’s the Millwall XI, we here at FLW, think the club’s supporters want to see in this weekend’s clash with Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

Despite conceding two goals on his league debut for Millwall, the goalkeeper had little to nothing to do in the defeat to Swansea City.

With number one stopper Jordan Archer left out the side due to issues with his mentality, and his inability still at saving from distance, fans would be happy to see the former Charlton loanee continue between the sticks.

Fellow right-back Mahlon Romeo was at fault for both Swansea City goals last time out, and a return to the first team would please the Millwall support.

He is a more natural defender than his positional rival, and against Leeds that could prove more of an asset.

The two mistakes from Romeo, however, was enough for Lions’ fans to call for a return to the side of Conor McLaughlin.

Having not played since last September through injury, the defender has had build up match fitness in the Carabao Cup and could be involved this weekend.

New signing Murray Wallace has been unconvincing despite scoring the Lions opener in the defeat to the Swans.

Webster had been a colossus before his injury and has been a miss since, but if an opportunity to play the former Yeovil man arises, then fans would love to see his return.

The Defender has been an ever present this season and ever the professional, despite his young age.

Rangers had several bids rejected for the defender, and he has continued to be a dependable defender and fans will expect 23-year-old to continue in his role at centre-half.

James Meredith is unassuming and always a consistent seven out of ten performer.

Millwall fans will expect the Australian left-back to continue in the role for the visit of Leeds United at The Den this weekend.

Despite the horrific run of form Jed Wallace has shown this year, there is no better game for him to get his season back on track the way the winger knows be can play.

The dynamic winger has the potential to be a match winner, and despite him coming in for criticism from Millwall fans during the early part of the season, it is expected from them that he starts and uses this match as the catalyst for an upturn in form.

With the sale of George Saville, Ryan Leonard will be a certain starter that Millwall fans will like to see.

The club’s record signing will be a player that supporters are keen to see from the off and it is the perfect match for him to make his debut and show The Den faithful what he is capable of.

The Republic of Ireland international has had a dream week scoring his first goal for his country and arguably the man of the match for the Irish in the 4-1 defeat to Wales.

He has been a consistently cool performer for Millwall since his arrival from MK Dons.

And, again, the visit of Leeds is the perfect match for Shaun Williams to continue in the midfield - a move fans would agree with.

Having made five substitute appearances this season, yet to make his full league debut, the Czech Republic international has had limited time on the pitch.

But when he has played, he has been impressive enough for Lions fans to clamour for the summer signing to start a game.

Having not had their voices heard in the defeat to Swansea, Millwall supporters will be hoping Jiri Skalak will start his first Millwall game in the Championship this weekend.

The Lions striker is a fans favourite at The Den and the supporters will expect Lee Gregory to start and would want him to be apart of the Millwall side to start proceedings this weekend against Leeds United.

His hold-up play is excellent and something that has stood out for the Lions fans during his time at the club and the relentless forward will be a player the Den faithful expect to play.

The former club record signing, holding the record for all but a week, will be a player the fans will be desperate to see start against Leeds United.

Coming in for Steve Morison, it would mean Millwall might have to change the way they play slightly, but having been bemused with his five-minute cameo as a home debut, fans were not happy.

Having a £1million player at a club like Millwall is a big deal and the support expects him to start - and they would want him to partner with Lee Gregory up top this weekend.
