‘More than good enough for this league’ – Cardiff fans react to latest transfer business

The positive start to the summer transfer window for Cardiff City continued late on Friday afternoon after the club captured the signature of 32-year-old goalkeeper Lee Camp on a two-year deal.
He is the second man in that position to arrive at the Bluebirds in recent weeks after manager Neil Warnock was able to sign Neil Etheridge on a free from League One side Walsall.
There seems to be more uplifting spirits in the Welsh capital following this announcement as Cardiff have carried on their preparation for the 2017/18 Championship campaign, which gets underway in less than two months.
Supporters will be pleased that the boss has focused on building from the back and the experience Camp brings to this crop of players can only help their club’s rise up the table next season.
The two promotions during his career have also contributed to the overwhelming response from Cardiff City fans, and this is exactly how they reacted on Twitter following the news.
A good, experienced keeper is more than enough for this league and Lee Camp is certainly that.
I'm thankful it's not Paddy Kenny.

is Lee Camp even a decent keeper anymore? Warnock is showing his age with some of his signings

Lee Camp had player of the season at Rotherham under Warnock so I wouldn't be surprised if he's given the number 1 spot.

Remember Lee Camp being amazing at Forest and shocked he wasn't in Premier League. Hopefully he can get back to that sort of form with us.

Lee camp is basically Warnocks new version of Paddy Kenny

Wow, didn't see Lee Camp signing at all!

Not too excited over Lee Camp, decent for Notts Forest a good few years ago but is he better than Murphy/Etheridge??
