Birmingham City heaped more misery on Stoke City and Gary Rowett as they beat the Potters 1-0 at the Bet365 stadium on Saturday.

The defeat means Rowett's side slipped down into 17th with the manager left seething that his side were not awarded at least one penalty and saw red for his protestations.

Stoke came closest to opening the scoring in the first half as Birmingham defender Michael Morrison deflected a cross just past the post of his own goal.

Joe Allen wasted a great chance at the start of the second half as well, blazing his shot high over the bar from close range.

Birmingham began to grow into the game however and Che Adams gave the Blues an 81st-minute lead arriving at the far post to tap home Lukasz Jutkiewicz's pinpoint cross.

Adams was the centre of attention again just moments later as he appeared to handle Allen's goalbound shot in the penalty area, but the referee was unmoved.

But even without the penalty controversy, it was another bitterly disappointing day for the Stoke City fans with many beginning to lose patience with Gary Rowett.

Here is how they reacted to his post-match comments...
