More big money striker links: We expect Stoke City to do these 3 things this week

Published

on

Stoke City have already been very busy in this summer transfer window as they prepare for life back in the Championship.

After suffering relegation from the Premier League, Stoke have moved quickly to poach a manager from Derby County by appointing Gary Rowett as their new boss and two signings have already been made.

Wolves striker Benik Afobe arrives on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy and Oghenekaro Etebo signs on a permanent deal from Portugal.

Much more transfer activity is expected this summer as the Potters eye an instant return to the Premier League.

Rowett is armed with a fairly sizeable budget, given their parachute payments and the inevitable sales of some of their better players.

But with the new season fast approaching, this could be another massive week for Stoke.

Here are three things we expect to happen at the club before the end of the week.
