The 24-year-old forward has been a regular feature for Forest this season, making 21 appearances in all competitions, but he hasn’t quite found form in front of goal.

Off the bench against Derby though, he could wreak havoc amongst a tiring defence.

Vellios’ goals this season have come in patterns, scoring in three consecutive matches back in September and then netting in back-to-back fixtures at the start of October.

Having found the net a few weeks ago against Barnsley, the omens are good for Montanier’s side.
