What a season it has been so far for Leeds United, sitting in 5th position in the Championship and in with a real chance of winning promotion.

Under Garry Monk, the Elland Road outfit have finally found their form after a miserable few seasons of underachievement. The former Swansea manager has instilled a belief in the squad that they can go on and be successful, and it is showing in both performances and results.

Leeds certainly look the part already, but as any club vying for promotion knows, it is important to add quality in the January transfer window.

Monk will certainly be active in the window no doubt, and one thing he might look to do is tie up the odd loan deal from the Premier League.

With this in mind, FLW writer Lee Connor takes a look at THREE Premier League loans Leeds and Monk should consider this week...

Tyrone Mings

One player Leeds could consider a cheeky loan move for is Bournemouth man Tyrone Mings.

Only one appearance this season for the former Ipswich man has left him a frustrated figure, and he might well be open to a move.

With Charlie Taylor's future up in the air and bids expected in January, Mings could be the perfect temporary replacement.

Patrick Bamford

A player already linked with Leeds and likely to be linked with other clubs throughout January, Bamford is having a bad time of it at Burnley at the moment.

Bamford though is a proven Championship goalscorer, and Monk would no doubt love nothing more than to add another proven finisher to his ranks at Elland Road.

Jonathan Leko

Leeds are a team who possess bags of young talent and pace throughout, but the addition of another speedster like Leko could add another dimension to their play.

Leko is highly regarded at West Brom, and still in his teens, could relish a move to the Championship to gain some first team experience.

There would be little to lose for Leeds if they moved for Leko, and it might just pay off if they do capture him.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Would you take any of these? Let us know!
