As quoted by The Northern Echo, Garry Monk has suggested that he does not want to sell any more players during this summer window before Deadline Day.

The former Leeds manager has been quick to change things about this summer at the club since his arrival and he has certainly not been shy in terms of spending money.

For sure, then, the club will be aiming for promotion in light of that but it appears that there is no need for the club to now balance the books through letting players go.

Indeed, the Championship requires a strong squad if you are going to win it and it seems as though that is what Monk wants to make sure he has for the campaign.

Indeed, it's probable that he'll try and sign some players between now and the end of the window but in the meantime Monk has had this to say about no further exits - as per The Northern Echo.

"We don’t want to lose anyone.

"The squad has been achieved by design, and the players that are here now are ones that we want to keep."

Boro, then, look set to not let anyone leave between now and the end of the window if Monk can have anything to do about it.
