It's been an incredible season for Leeds who are battling for promotion in the play offs...

Garry Monk took the helm of the club over the summer, and despite a tricky start to the season, have flown all the way up to fourth place in astonishing fashion, mounting a promotion hunt few saw coming.

Leeds were extremely active over the summer, making twelve major signings to the first team squad, including five loans and a number of big money deals, giving their squad the revitalisation it needed.

After years half battling with relegation, Monk appears to have transformed the fortunes of the club for the better, and will hope to finish the season on a strong note to enter the play offs in good form.

If they do want to do this, they'll need to use some of their fringe players that aren't being used nearly as much as the rest. Here FLW writer Charlie Firth looks at TWO of those who Monk should consider:

Modou Barrow

In, out, in, out, shake it all about for Modou Barrow. He seems constantly between being in the Swansea first team squad and out on loan in the Championship, finding himself in the latter situation right now.

Weirdly, Barrow has actually made over 50 appearances for Swansea, and was tracked by the likes of Southampton and Leicester - a £20 million price tag slapped on his head - before moving on loan to Leeds in January.

Monk signed Barrow for Swansea and is well aware of his ability out wide, able to play on either side and with blistering pace, he's an option to tasty to ignore.

Ronaldo Vieira

Should he be playing purely due to his name? My vote is yes. Ronaldo Vieira has emerged fully as a first team member this year, with a fair few managers coming away from Elland Road wowed by the 18-year-old's ability.

He was signed on a two-year scholarship in 2015 and made his debut at 16 against Preston North End last year.

Recently, Vieira is playing more and more of a bit part in Monk's squad, despite starting as a pretty important first team player at the beginning of the season, and should be given more of a shot in the limelight.

Leeds fans... Do you agree with this? Should these players be in the first team? Let us know in the comments below.
